The Watsontown Police Department is a full-time police department, consisting of 5 full-time Police Officers and 3 part-time Police Officers.  There is always at least 1 officer, sometimes more, on duty... 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The Watsontown Police Department serves the residents of the Borough of Watsontown, which is located in far northern Northumberland County in the north-central portion of Pennsylvania.  The Borough encompasses about .9 square miles, and has a population of around 2,300.
